As a Senior Educational Consultant at the Texas A&M University Center for Teaching Excellence (CTE), Dr. Bahman Shahri oversees the Graduate Student Professional Development in Teaching (GSPDT) program operations. Dr. Shahri earned his Ph.D. in curriculum and instruction from Ohio University. He holds a master’s degree in general linguistics and bachelor’s degree in English language and literature from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad in Iran. He was awarded and successfully completed the Albert Schweitzer Fellowship (ASF) at Ohio State University. As a Schweitzer Fellow for Life, Dr. Shahri is skilled in and committed to serving students and faculty from vulnerable populations.
