Generative AI Learning Community
The Center for Teaching Excellence seeks a cohort of 16 interested and dedicated instructors to participate in the Generative AI Learning Community focused on exploring the use of generative artificial intelligence in the classroom.
This three-semester commitment takes place over the 2025/2026 calendar year - Spring or Summer 2025, Fall 2025, and Spring 2026. There is flexibility for faculty to join the learning community either in Spring or Summer 2025, with both entry points concluding with activities in which they promote AI use among their peers (Champion AI among Peers). Participants choose two activities from four options.
Generative AI Learning Community Learning Outcomes:
Those who complete all requirements (see timeframe below) will receive a $2500 bursary at the completion of their commitment. Please note, those who apply as a group will receive the $2500 bursary to be divided evenly between group members.
