After 23 years of dedicated service to Texas A&M University, Dr. Debra Fowler, executive director of the Center for Teaching Excellence (CTE), will be retiring on Jan. 31, 2026.
A few weeks into the fall semester, it becomes obvious to students and faculty alike which of their everyday tasks are the most time-consuming. On September 22, Google Gemini visited campus in collaboration with the Office of the Provost and Technology Services to inform and encourage the use of their AI tools for enhancing education.
At Texas A&M University, the Center for Teaching Excellence (CTE) is leading the charge in transforming education through innovation, collaboration, and support.
Each year, Texas A&M hosts a Transformational Teaching and Learning Conference focused on holistic student development and this year's event took place April 30 through May 1 with over 350 faculty in attendance. The goal of the conference was to invigorate faculty while taking an active role in the ongoing development of those teaching tomorrow's leaders.
