CTE Position and Role
Dr. Kelli Adam is an Educational Consultant at Texas A&M University's Center for Teaching Excellence, where she partners with faculty and academic programs to redesign curricula that promote meaningful student learning. Her work focuses on aligning learning outcomes, curriculum, and assessment while helping instructors integrate evidence-based teaching practices and emerging technologies, including generative AI.

Relevant Academic and Professional Experience
Dr. Adam earned a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from Texas A&M University, along with an M.S. in Management Information Systems and a B.B.A. in Finance. Her work combines technical expertise, course design, and higher education practice to support innovative, student-centered learning. Before entering higher education full time, Dr. Adam founded and led a technology consulting firm that delivered enterprise networking solutions and Microsoft technical training to organizations around the world. She later taught information systems and networking courses at the community college level, where she designed competency-based learning experiences aligned with industry certifications. This combination of industry and teaching experience enables her to help faculty connect disciplinary expertise with effective course design and evolving workforce expectations.

Her background in both technology and higher education allows her to bridge emerging tools with solid course design.
