CTE Position and Role
Jordan Lauhoff is an Educational Consultant for Graduate Student Professional Development in Teaching at the Center for Teaching Excellence. She supports the professional growth of all graduate students interested in developing their teaching skills, whether their paths lead to academia or other fields. Her work encompasses professional development in teaching workshop facilitation, instructional coaching, and one-on-one consultation, through programs such as the Teaching Assistant Institute, the GSPDT Workshop Series, the Graduate Teaching Consultant Program, and the Academy for Future Faculty.

Relevant Academic Professional Experience
She holds a Master of Science in Educational Leadership from Western Governors University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Texas A&M University. Her background includes fifteen years in K-12 education, with eleven years in the classroom and four years as an Assistant Principal. She has experience in instructional coaching, program leadership, and designing professional development. Her work focuses on helping educators turn their knowledge into practical and effective teaching through observation, modeling, and reflective conversation.
