Description: When teaching an introductory course for non-majors, it can be challenging to keep students engaged in the material. By creatively utilizing built-in Canvas tools, it is possible to use them in new ways. Here, the Mastery Paths tool was used to provide a way for students to choose the order in which they learn the material.
