CTE Position and Role

Allison Reed serves as a Program Specialist for the Center for Teaching Excellence at Texas A&M University. Her role consists of being a key facilitator between the center and faculty, staff, and other stakeholders, ensuring the seamless delivery of digital learning programs providing essential operational support. 

Relevant Academic and Professional Experience

Allison earned her Bachelor of Science in Fashion Merchandising with a Business Foundations Minor from the University of North Texas. Before joining Texas A&M, Allison coached multiple sports, sponsored a leadership organization, taught junior high-level English, Texas History, and US History for over a decade. Prior, she was a buyer coordinator for a fashion and home décor corporation. These professional opportunities shaped and developed a love for guiding, teaching, and empowering others to grow and develop their passions, appreciation for education, and leadership capabilities. 

Professional Profile

Allison's career in public education and corporate merchandising shaped a deep appreciation for the lasting impact of encouragement, guidance, and meaningful support. Today, she brings that same people-first approach from the classroom and beyond to partnering with faculty, staff, and students, helping them navigate challenges and connect with the resources they need to succeed. She believes that every interaction is an opportunity to make someone's work a little easier and their experience a little better.
