Overview
The Provost Academic Professional Track (APT) Faculty Teaching Excellence Award, established in 2019, encourages, recognizes and rewards faculty recipients for exceptional teaching practices that create meaningful learning experiences for students. It illustrates both the impact of an effective teaching approach and the value of student-centered learning. Recipients of this award receive $5,000, generously gifted by the Marie M. and James H. Galloway Foundation, to support teaching innovations and teaching-related projects/activities. Recipients will hold this award title for life.
Call for Nominations
To nominate an APT faculty member for the Provost Academic Professional Track Faculty Teaching Excellence Award, please refer to the Award Guidelines and nomination packet below. CTE will convene a committee of faculty to identify the final 10 recipients.
