In this workshop we will explore how the syllabus can inspire, motivate and engage students in your course from the first day of class. What do you want your syllabus to accomplish? How do you best communicate learning objectives? Assessment practices? Expectations? Open to all faculty and graduate students with course teaching responsibilities. Bring your current syllabus (or someone else’s for inspiration!), your laptops, and your creativity.
