 Each faculty member in your college or department influences the lives of many students as they inspire them to higher levels of learning and deeper levels of understanding. Are you satisfied with the learning and understanding of your students? Would you like to help improve the reviews your faculty receive? Would you like to help your faculty develop new ways to help their students learn and apply challenging concepts?
The Center for Teaching Excellence (CTE) offers a variety of programs for your faculty including workshops (e.g., “How to Create Syllabi that Engage Students” and “How to Prepare a Teaching Portfolio”), faculty learning communities, assistance with education-related grant proposals, an annual teaching conference and travel and incentive grants to enhance their teaching. We can also create customized workshops for faculty in your college or department. In addition, CTE staff members (representing a diversity of academic backgrounds and perspectives) are ready and willing to consult with your faculty individually about whatever teaching and learning questions are on their mind. |
