Help Us Make a Difference

Giving to the CTE

As you have seen on the rest of the CTE website, the Center for Teaching Excellence provides resources and services to faculty, current and future, so that they can thrive as teachers and grow professionally. The CTE also engages in and supports the advancement of teaching practices and pedagogical research that stimulates the development of learning environments at Texas A&M.

We are looking for new Advancement Council members whose goals are to:

  • Support the advancement of student learning at Texas A&M University;
  • Provide and stimulate opportunities for Texas A&M University alumni, friends, and families to become involved in the CTE, both in service and financial support;
  • Ensure that the CTE is recognized throughout the University, its alumni, their families, and the wider community, as a valuable resource for the improvement of teaching and learning; and
  • Provide financial support, both directly and indirectly, to support the operations and future advancement of the CTE.

In addition, the CTE is looking for donors to support our various programs.  We have created several information sheets, called one-pagers, on the following programs for which we are seeking donors:

Partner with Us

TAMU faculty play an important role in CTE programming.

  • Our Faculty Student Advisory Board members provide feedback on our work and share news about our programs and events with colleagues.
  • Our Faculty Teaching Academy relies on advising from a Faculty Associate (Sarah Bednarz for 2011-2012) in addition to six faculty speakers annually.
  • Faculty participate in panels in some of our workshops where they share information about their practice with peer participants.

Interested in working with CTE? Contact us with your ideas. We look forward to hearing from you!
