Wakonse South Conference on College Teaching

We invite you to participate in the 13th Annual Wakonse South Conference on College Teaching, April 9-April 11, 2010, at Canyon of the Eagles Lodge & Nature Park, in Burnet, Texas. We hope that you will join us for what will be a productive and energizing two and a half days focused on learning and teaching.
The program is a participatory one, built around the interests and expertise of the faculty attending. This will not be a weekend you spend listening to people read papers. Rather, you will hear from your own experienced colleagues. You will reflect on your own teaching experience and share successes and failures with your colleagues. When you return to your campus, you will take with you ideas that you can adapt to your own classrooms, as well as the names of new friends and colleagues.

Although some of the costs of lodging, meals, transportation from TAMU to the conference site, and materials are financed by the Texas A&M University Foundation, we have established a registration fee of $300 for all participants, plus $100 for single-occupancy room, to cover remaining costs. To register for the conference, complete and print the Registration Form and fax it to 979-845-9242 or email it to CTE@tamu.edu.
